The Central Texas Decorating Story
You don’t have to start with a lot to build something great. Our story begins in a small Texas town, where two lifelong friends—Juan and Ignacio—grew up with very little but shared a dream: to build something of their own.

As teenagers, they took on whatever work they could find. It wasn’t glamorous, but it was honest—and it taught them the value of hard work. After spending time at a painting company, they realized this could be their path forward. So with nothing but a pencil and a sheet of paper, they wrote down the name that would mark the beginning of it all: Central Texas Decorating.

In the early days, it was just the two of them—taking on small repair jobs for local shops. No crew, no high-end tools—just determination, long nights, and a deep belief in what they were building. They didn’t go to business school. Instead, they figured it out as they went—teaching themselves how to price work, communicate with clients, and deliver quality results every time.

Buying their first computer was a milestone. It wasn’t just a tool—it was a symbol of growth. With no tutorials or training, Ignacio learned how to use it, while Juan made sure every job was done right and every customer walked away satisfied. Word spread, and with each project, their reputation for honesty and quality grew.

As the company expanded, they reinvested in the tools and resources they needed: better equipment, a floor plan printer, and eventually, their first office. What began as a small operation became a multi-million-dollar business, built on values that never wavered.

And today, their children carry the vision forward.

The next generation brings new ideas, modern tools, and the same work ethic that started it all. The mission is the same: do great work, treat people right, and keep growing—not just in business, but as individuals.
