What We Build Starts

With Who We Are

Central Texas Decorating First office opened in 2006

From the Ground Up

Juan and Ignacio didn’t come from wealth. They came from dust-covered streets and homes where every dollar mattered. They were dirt poor, with little to no education, and the odds were never in their favor. But what they did have couldn’t be measured on paper: a relentless work ethic, deep loyalty, and a belief that they were meant for more.

Growing up in a small Texas town, survival came before success. They learned to work young—taking whatever jobs they could just to help their families get by. Every fence they painted, every wall they patched wasn’t just about a paycheck—it was about building character. Even in silence and struggle, they were learning discipline, resilience, and responsibility.

Their formal education may have been limited, but life taught them more than any classroom ever could. Every challenge became a lesson. Every failure became fuel.

When they got jobs at a local painting company, something inside them shifted. They realized they didn’t just want to work for someone else’s dream—they wanted to build their own. So one day, with nothing but a pencil and a scrap of paper, they wrote down three simple words: Central Texas Decorating.

That was the beginning. There was no business plan, no safety net. Just faith, grit, and a shared promise: “We’ll figure it out.”

They worked day and night. No crew, no fancy tools, no one to show them the way. But they taught themselves—how to bid jobs, how to talk to clients, how to earn trust. They made mistakes, learned the hard way, and kept going. Growth wasn’t quick, but it was real. It happened with every decision, every job, every conversation.

The first computer they bought felt like a milestone. Ignacio stayed up late teaching himself how to use it, while Juan led the work in the field, making sure every project reflected their values. They didn’t just grow a business—they grew as men.

And that’s what made the difference.

Over the years, they invested not just in tools and equipment, but in themselves. They learned to lead, to listen, to adapt. And as the company expanded, so did their vision of what was possible.

Today, their children carry that vision forward—with fresh ideas, smarter tools, and the same fire in their hearts. Because this business was never just about painting—it was about purpose. About showing what’s possible when you commit to growth, when you live with integrity, and when you believe that where you start doesn’t define where you end up.
